Media Support for Community Leaders
After the success of the media training project, an increased demand for further editing training sessions from the community leaders in the Canterbury/Bankstown areas has eventuated. After documenting events held in the community, community leaders recognise the value of professional editing and wide distribution across communities. The training sessions were delivered in a tutorial format. Through individual sessions, the community leaders further developed their basic video skills, and particular areas of editings were intensively covered upon request by volunteer trainers. The Burmese Rohingya community and the Chuibet youth community have been the most active communities in participation.
